1.3 Orders and payment
- Payment must be received in full before items are dispatched.
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment service providers.
- Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when we send you an order confirmation email.
- If we cannot fulfil your order (for example, due to stock issues or pricing errors), we will notify you and refund any payment received.
- All prices on the website are shown in euro (€) and include Irish VAT at the applicable rate.
- Any delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.
- We may change prices from time to time, but the price shown at checkout at the time you place your order is the price that will apply to that order.
- Items will be delivered to the address provided by you at checkout. Please check that these details are accurate.
- Where address details have been incorrectly supplied by you, we cannot be held responsible for any delay, non-delivery or loss arising from that error.
- Delivery timeframes shown on the website are estimates and not guaranteed, but we will always aim to deliver within 30 days of your order, as required by EU consumer law.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the delivery address you provided.
- For goods, the 14-day period runs from the day you, or a person you nominate (other than the carrier), receives the goods.
- If your order is split into multiple deliveries, the period runs from the day the last item is delivered.
- by email to sales@virginiamedical.ie, or

- You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise or the goods are faulty or not as described.
- You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and return them in a condition suitable for resale (you may handle them to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a physical shop).
- If you cancel in accordance with your legal right to withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you for the relevant order, including the cost of standard delivery.
- We may deduct any loss in value of the goods resulting from unnecessary handling by you.
- We will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive the returned goods, or from the day you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.
