Water leaking advice

Important guidelines. Please read carefully.

Failure to follow these instructions may cause water leakage and permanent damage to your Salin Plus device.

  • Use only in a dry room.
  • Keep windows closed while the Salin Plus is in use. If you want to open a window, remove the device from the room first.
  • Avoid damp areas. Do not place the unit in bathrooms, kitchens, or rooms with high humidity or dampness.
  • Do not use with a dehumidifier. Salt naturally absorbs moisture, which can cause the filter to turn damp and release liquid.

If you notice water inside the device

Using the Salin Plus in the wrong environment can cause water damage. If this happens:

  • Stop using the device immediately.
  • Remove the filter and dry the unit thoroughly. Leave it in a dry room or hot press until completely dry.
  • Keep the windows in that room closed to help the drying process.
  • Check the device daily for any signs of water or corrosion.

Important: Operating the Salin Plus while it is leaking may cause permanent damage. Any signs of water damage will invalidate the warranty and exclude replacement.

Environmental care: End of life

When your Salin® Plus device reaches the end of its useful life:

  • Remove the filter element and dispose of it with your household waste, unless your local authority advises otherwise.
  • Recycle the Salin® Plus device at a WEEE/electrical recycling point. Do not dispose of the unit with general household waste.

This helps reduce environmental impact and supports responsible recycling of electrical products.
