How Salin® Plus works

Salin® Plus circulates room air through a salt-based filter. First, the unit pulls air in. Next, it passes that air through the filter. Then, it releases the air back into the room. As a result, it supports a cleaner-feeling breathing environment at home.

What’s in the Salt Filter

The filter uses a micro-crystallised deposit of salts. Specifically, it contains primarily sodium chloride, plus trace minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iodine, and sulphur. Therefore, many people include Salin® Plus in a night-time routine. In addition, they use it to support breathing comfort and a fresher-feeling sleep space.

How to use it consistently

For best results, run Salin® Plus regularly, especially during the first few weeks. For example, run it overnight in the bedroom. Consequently, it supports continuous air circulation while you sleep. Meanwhile, you can also run it during the day in a living space or home office.

Coverage and placement

Salin® Plus suits rooms up to 150 cubic metres (approx. 55 m²). However, placement still matters. So, set it where air can move freely around it. Instead, avoid tucking it behind furniture or beside soft furnishings. Otherwise, blocked airflow can reduce performance.

Keeping performance steady

To maintain performance, keep the unit away from high humidity. Likewise, avoid heavy dust and greasy cooking air (for example beside a kitchen hob). Additionally, avoid bathrooms or ensuites with showers. Finally, keep windows closed during use. Because open windows disrupt consistent airflow, results can vary.

Night-Time setup

In summary, place the unit on a stable surface around 1 metre from the bed. Then, keep the air intake and outlet clear. As a result, the unit can circulate air more evenly while it runs.
